Food Stamps Pre-Screening Eligibility Tool

This Pre-Screening Tool can be used to determine if you may be eligible to receive Food Stamp benefits. This Pre-Screening Tool is not an application for Food Stamps. An application for Food Stamps must be made at your local Food Stamp Office. Click here to find the office that serves your area.

Before you begin, you may want to look up the amounts of your earnings, rent or mortgage, utility bills, child support, day care expenses, medical bills (if you are 60 or older, or disabled), child support payments or SSI, social security or VA payments.

San Bernardino County -- The Nutrition program includes the procurement, preparation, transportation, service of balanced meals and nutrition education to older persons at congregate nutrition sites and to homebound individuals.

Congregate meals are served weekdays (excluding holidays) to senior citizens, 60-years-of-age or older, and their spouses, at nutrition sites around San Bernardino County. Search -- Nutrition Sites

In Wonder Valley, you must call one day in advance to "gurantee" meal availability.

Presently, the requested "donation" per meal is $3.

Please send an E-mail if you have questions about my availability or fee-for-service hourly rate which covers one individual. If circumstances warrant, I will be glad to negotiate my rate of pay to help you maintain your budget. Firstly, I work as a Caregiver to earn my living and to ensure that you receive "premier services".

NOTE: If you are "income eligible", please contact your County Social Welfare Worker instead of me. I work exclusively with clients that are "not covered" by State of California support programs.

For your reference, I have completed a Caregiver background check by the San Bernardino County Sheriffs' Department (Whitefeather Rd., Joshua Tree). You will be glad to know that I "do not" use drugs or alcohol and I am a non-smoker.

Additionally, I have a "Food Handler's Certificate" from Cooper Mountain College.
